**Position Overview:**

**Job Summary:**

The Clinical Operations Manager provides overall direction and management, operational planning, quality assurance, technical performance, regulatory compliance and personnel resource management of the clinical lab. Coordinates the development and implementation of goals, objectives and long range plans.


**Education, Licensures, and Certifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree - Required

+ Master's Degree - Preferred

+ Clinical Lab Scientist License - Required


+ Minimum five years of management experience in a multi-site/lab hospital setting - Preferred

+ Generalist laboratory background with minimum 5-7 years experience preferred - Preferred

+ Good technical knowledge in relevant laboratory areas including blood bank, hematology, chemistry, coagulation, and urinalysis - Preferred

**Skills and Knowledge:**

+ Mastery of CAP (College of American Pathologist) standards and regulations, CLIA knowledge

+ Organizational and analytical skills

+ Demonstrates ability to build a supportive team environment

+ Able to maintain a cooperative and supportive team by establishing strong and independent management team

+ Flexibility and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
