Paramedics Logistics TexasLocation: Atlanta, GA*Department: Administrative OfficesFLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions Duties/Responsibilities * Analyzing entire revenue cycle while creating and tracking KPI's and trends related to collections, timely billing, etc. * Analyzing revenue cycle data, preparing revenue forecasts, and performing trend analyses * Presenting revenue cycle reports and forecasts, as well as identifying opportunities to increase revenue * Reviewing billing practices to guarantee accurate revenue recognition and invoicing. * Reviewing and facilitating the collection of outstanding payments * Helping develop and implement improved revenue cycle processes and procedures from intake to collections * Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in revenue cycle management * Working with accounting team to understand processes and procedures of the rest of the team * Working with billing team to created month-end entries for revenue * Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting * Preparing for financial audits by ensuring procedural compliance in revenue reporting and collection Position Qualifications Experience * Prior healthcare experience (3+ years) preferred * At least 7-10 years total prior experience preferred Education * Bachelor's degree Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics * Master's degree or MBA preferred * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred Competencies * Proficiency in accounting, data analysis, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software * In-depth knowledge of accounting practices and industry regulations * Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle data analysis and interpretation * Advanced knowledge of Tableau or other data analysis programs, highly preferred * Prior experience as a revenue cycle analyst, or similar role * Keen attention to detail * Excellent collaboration and communication skills * Superb analytical and critical thinking abilities * Advanced time-management and organizational skills General Requirements * Ability to successfully pass a thorough background investigation and drug test * Valid driver's license Working Environment * Office setting Physical Requirements * Occasional lifting of office supplies and other material associated with position * Requirements will vary; must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodations Salary Range $75K-$90KAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or other legally protected status.
