Detailed instructions and procedures to be followed in a potentially hazardous condition (i.e. robbery) are received to minimize the risk.ResponsibilitiesProcess and provide receipt(s) and/or cash as appropriate for transactions including, but not limited to, the following:Retail and Commercial DepositsWithdrawalsTransfersCheck CashingLoan PaymentsLoan Draws/AdvancesLoan PayoffsCash AdvancesSavings Bond RedemptionsGift CardsOfficial ChecksSafe Deposit Box PaymentsProvide customer service by assisting clients in person or with proper phone etiquette with needs including, but not limited to, the following:Answer basic customer inquiries regarding account balances, transaction history, services charges, interest rates and others as appropriate.Recognize needs and refer the client to the appropriate representative or line of business for cross-sell or service opportunities.If trained, assist customers with safe deposit box entryProtect the bank from unnecessary risk or exposure by familiarity with procedures and completing the following as needed:Follow proper identification procedures and customer confidentiality guidelinesCTRsSARsReg CC Holds, including providing proper documentation to the customerMonetary Instrument LogsRobbery ProceduresCommunicate effectively with internal departments and/or branches to prevent fraudulent loss to the bankDaily Operations including but not limited to the following:Balance the cash drawer at day's endEnsure all supplies are stocked for customers and personal teller stationBatch checks periodically throughout the dayPeriodically perform branch capture procedures throughout the dayIdentify counterfeit currencyCount and roll loose coins as neededBalance the ATMFlexibility regarding work location and scheduleWork schedule may include Saturday rotation as neededPerform all other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum:High school diploma or equivalent10-Key skillsMathematical skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to count cash and coinGood interpersonal skillsPreferred:Previous cash-handling and/or teller experiencePrevious customer service experienceKnowledge of bank products and servicesUnderstanding of federal bank regulationsRENASANT BANK IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
