**Position Overview:**

**POSITION SUMMARY:**

Under physician supervision, assists in surgeries and delivers pre-operative and post-operative care in an office setting. PA practice is per California Physician Assistant regulations and the delegation of service agreement between PA(s) and the supervising physician(s).

**Qualifications:**

**MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS**

**Education, including Licensure / Certification / Registration**

+ Current CA Physician Assistant license required

+ Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required

+ Current DEA License required

+ National certification required

+ CAPA Controlled Substance Certification preferred

+ ACLS preferred

**Experience**

+ 6 months related clinical experience preferred
