**PRIMARY PURPOSE** **:** Under the direction of the Division Chief, organization of the Director of Imaging Services, and supervision of the Chief Technologist of Nuclear Medicine, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist I performs with technical competency all adult, pediatric, and geriatric nuclear medicine imaging, non-imaging and therapeutic and procedures currently available in the service. The nuclear medicine technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS** :
+ California State Licensure for Nuclear Medicine Technologist
+ National certification such as ARRT(N) or NMTCB, preferred
+ Current CPR/BLS required.
+ Familiarity with GE and Philips (Marconi/Picker/ADAC), imaging platforms, preferred.
+ 1 year clinical nuclear medicine preferred, but new graduates are accepted.
