**Role Value Proposition:**
Process complex Individual Disability Income policy billing/administrative changes and compliance. Responsibilities include payment mode changes, refund processing and policy conversions.
+ Processes complex payment mode changes, rescission cancellations and various types of payment refunds.
+ Processes Automatic Benefit Increases on MetLife Insurance Company of Connecticut and MetLife policies.
+ Reviews and types General Agency Brokerage contracts.
+ Researches payment history and run payment history reports as requested.
+ Researches and processes Long Term Disability policy conversions.
+ Updates the IDI Administration Manual as required.
+ Communicates effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external customers.
+ Meets time service standards for position.
+ Researches and recommends best practices.
**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**
+ High school diploma.
+ One to Two years of customer service experience.
+ Previous insurance experience
+ Good written communications skills
+ Skilled in Microsoft Office tools
+ BA or equivalent business experience preferred
+ Understanding of the IDI New Business products, services, processes and systems and how they integrate
+ One to Two years of customer service experience. Previous insurance experience is preferred
