**Job Location:** United States : Florida : Jacksonville

**Role Value Proposition:**

The Benefits Leave Administrator is responsible for the daily administration of the companys various leave of absence programs while ensuring compliance with related state and federal regulations. A full understanding of all leave plans, policies and processes is critical to the success of this position.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Administers daily leave of absence programs including; Short- and Long-Term Disability leave, Military leave, FMLA leave, Non-FMLA leave, Parental leave, State sponsored leave, and Personal leaves of absence. Support the ADA and job accommodation function.

+ Maintains employee leave and updates employee records in CORE

+ Keeps track of payroll deadlines for leaves intermittent FMLA, residual hours

+ Communicates information to employees regarding overpayments during leave and submits to payroll for processing.

+ Provide innovative ideas that can support the ongoing growth of the Leave Department

+ Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations

+ Prioritize and organize daily responsibilities to meet all deadlines

+ Partner with local manager to provide guidance and support with regards to leave policies/practices and ensure adherence to these policies. Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**


+ Must have a minimum of 3-5+ years of related benefits and/or employee leave administration experience

+ Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

+ Knowledge of laws and regulations that are related to employee benefits

+ Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems (ADP) preferred.

+ Excellent communication and organization skills

+ Must be able to work in the office for 40 hours per week


+ Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

+ Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments

+ Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ Ability to work autonomously; effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible.

+ Self-motivated to learn more about the business and is proactive in personal development.
