As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will provide systems engineering support in the areas of requirements management and architecture development for both flight avionics electronics and ground support equipment, as part of ICBM and Strategic Systems (I&SS) portfolio. Some of your day to day responsibilities will include:

Supporting the successful development and maintenance of the system level requirements, and external and internal Interface Control Documents (ICDs)

Assessment of existing external interface specifications for impacts

Coordination with both internal and external partners on the interfaces

Analysis of interface parameters results

Management of ICD requirements in the requirements management database/system model and trace of requirements

Supporting architecture development tasking, to include leading and documenting trade study and design efforts.

We are looking for someone with demonstrated interpersonal skills and experience coordinating work with internal customers. You should have excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills and be a proven teammate with a track record of building consensus among peers and effective relationships with diverse team members.

You would typically have a **Bachelors degree** and **5 - 10 years** of experience, or a Masters and 3 - 8 years.

**Basic Qualifications:**

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in electrical engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience.

Knowledge and experience with Requirements and Verification development and management, including validation, requirements decomposition, and flow down

Knowledge of assessments and/or evaluation of electrical architecture and/or electrical circuitry.

Active Secret clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years

**Desired Skills:**

Experience with US Air Force Strategic Systems.

Broad experience of Systems Engineering life cycle process and tools, including CONOPS development.

Experience with system engineering of missile systems and/or related ground support equipment.

Experience with Requirements data base tools (DOORS, etc.).

Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods, practices, and tools.
