The Ground Software team of the Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) program is looking for an innovative and dynamic Information Systems Architect to join our team in our King of Prussia, PA or Rockville, MD locations.

As part of this team, you will use your software engineering, architecture and problem solving skills to support the mission planning and command/control elements of an advanced satellite communication system. You will be taking a well-founded Mission Control System to the next generation, evolving to an Enterprise Ground Solution using agile and incremental delivery principles.

The AEHF Ground Software Architect will actively engage with current development contracts to define opportunities to evolve our existing system to the next generation of the AEHF Ground system.

This will include, but not limited to;

Developing architectures to support contract modifications, solutions to existing development as well as new business.

Identify processes, technologies and tools to enhance the teams and programs success and desire to continuously improve and adapt.

Contribute to developing the new architectures as they relate to the business roadmap and the customers vision for Enterprise Ground Architectures, Solutions and Services.

Generate ideas for IRADS as well as to support them.

Support Problem-Solving of difficult development issues that arise.

Lead prototyping and study efforts for IRADs and selection of new processes, technologies and tools.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

**Basic Qualifications:**

Object-oriented architecture and development experience, particularly in C++ and C# or Java

Service-based and/or web-based architecture and design experience

Active DOD-Secret Security Clearance

Test Automation and Continuous Integration experience

Agile Development and Incremental Delivery experience

Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proven track record

**Desired Skills:**

AEHF Planning and/or Command Control development experience

Enterprise Ground Architecture, Solutions and Services

Distributed Cloud Computing and Architecture

Windows and Unix/Linux development experience

Cyber Security and Data Exploitation

User Design (UX) Experience

DevOps experience
