We have an opportunity for a highly motivated professional whose work will reflect Instrons commitment to total customer satisfaction. Working from home, within the Greater Toronto area, you will be responsible for traveling to customer sites to perform a variety of services including verification, preventative maintenance, repair, and installation, on a wide range of Instrons materials testing products.
You will be provided with a company vehicle, appropriate tools/equipment, including a laptop computer, and the assurance that you have the support of well-established and growing service operation. Some overnight travel is expected (approximately 50%).
Successful applicants will have a technical AS or BS degree, or equivalent military/trade training as well as a minimum of two years experience, planning and performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of servo hydraulic and electromechanical systems. Must be able to interpret blueprints and schematics, understand hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and electronic systems, and have a broad-based knowledge and familiarity with PCs including operating systems and Windows applications.
In addition, you must be self-motivated, possess exceptional organizational and time management skills and due to the high level of customer interaction, possess strong interpersonal skills. A positive and customer focused attitude is also required.
