**SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES**

Serve in a highly visible role as a **Senior Manager, Compensation** , working as an experienced Strategic Human Resources Business Partner, leading the overall design, implementation, communication, and administration of Freemans US Compensation Programs.

Drive and manage US compensation practices and programs to attract and retain talent while supporting the business

Identify market trends, monitor competitiveness of programs, model cost implications and recommend innovative and effective compensation programs and solutions

Lead development of metrics and dashboards to guide decision making

Assist business leaders with compensation practices, workforce dynamics, and solutions development

Act as an internal consultant to business units on all compensation practices; identify emerging workforce trends related to compensation and develop innovative solutions

Oversee the development and administration of US salary structures, base pay programs, hourly pay programs, as well as Sales Compensation incentive programs, to ensure internal and

external equity

Manage some global country specific projects (i.e., bonus programs, salary structures, recognition programs, etc.)

Align Compensation and Performance Management programs with business strategy

Manage compensation budget through development and delivery of planning tools and partnership with all levels of leadership

Lead compensation communication, training and education programs

Manage a team of Compensation professionals, providing leadership that includes: team development, process improvement, project guidance, metrics reporting, compliance, governance, policy recommendation and interpretation, and partnership with all areas of the organization

**REQUIREMENTS**

15 plus years plus years of Compensation experience required

5 plus years managing a US based Compensation function needed

Global Compensation experience highly preferred

Previous experience leading a Compensation team in a matrixed organization

Previous experience working within a large public company

Expert level skills with Microsoft Excel, including understanding and use of VBA

Leadership skills in the design and implementation of compensation, and global base, incentive and variable pay programs for a large, complex public company

Strong analytical and mathematical skills

Strong facilitation, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to lead and develop a team

**EDUCATION**

Bachelors Degree required in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Human Resources or related field required

An Advanced Degree is preferred
