Job Summary

Represents the company to external and internal customers, answers service related questions, interprets and clarifies customer study designs to place into contracts, develops pricing strategies for customer contracts and negotiates for maximum company revenue. Assists in developing strategies to grow current business as well as win new business. Provides valuable insight into forecasting the discovery and safety assessment services by business line, customer and facility. Ensures maximum capacity utilization by working with operations to identify studies and clients to prioritize.

We are seeking a Client Services Rep I for our site located in Shrewsbury, MA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Prepare general information and bid and proposal packages, from generic letters to full proposal responses.

+ Use provided information to create scope of work sections for inclusion in Letters of Payment Authorization (LOPAs).

+ Prepare and track LOPAs and Amended Letters of Payment Authorization.

+ Assist in coordination of proposals/business plans for the Global Sales and Strategic Account teams.

+ Assist with updating and maintaining applicable databases.

+ Create and maintain department files.

+ Assist with hosting of client onsite visits

+ Assist with the preparation of marketing and client services presentations.

+ Perform all other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Education: Associates degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent in science, business or marketing related discipline. Bachelors degree preferred.

+ Experience: 1-2 years customer service or related experience.

+ An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

+ Other: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail required. Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
